Established in 2017 by the Co-Founder and former CPO of Stance Inc, Taylor Shupe, and the previous CTO of Delta Galil, Avi Cohen, FutureStitch employs an international staff of knit technologists, technicians, and developers.
FutureStitch has partnered with select premium hosiery and apparel brands to develop high-quality pieces of clothing at competitive prices with unparalleled production times.
The company maintains a small R&D and production unit in California and two large knitting facilities in Zhejiang, China.

Taylor Shupe
CEO & Co-Founder
Taylor is the Co-Founder of Stance, Inc. He served as the Head of Product for 8+ years. Before Stance, Taylor ran two successful startups—one of which was acquired. He’s been in manufacturing for 13+ years and socks for 9+. Taylor is fluent in Mandarin and resides in both China and the US.
PETER SHI
President & Co-Founder
Peter graduated college and went straight into sock manufacturing. His experience in sock manufacturing has spanned over 11 years. He ran his own factory with over 200 machines before partnering up with Taylor and Avi on the new facility.
Avi Cohen
Chief Technology Officer
Avi grew up in an agrarian community outside Haifa Israel farming cotton as a child and making socks as a teenager. He later served as the CTO of the highly innovative knit manufactory group, Delta Galil for 13 years. Avi has 35 years of experience in the sock industry and holds six technical hosiery patents.
Ivan ESPINOZA
Development Technician Manager
Ivan has been working in the technical area of the textile industry for over 30 years. He has worked for overseas companies such as Sangiacomo s.p.a., McGregor Industries Canada, Atel Socks Turkey, Delta Turkey, and Ridgeview Portugal. Ivan speaks Spanish and English and lives in China.
Michael Triffett
Development Manager
Michael has been working in the sock industry in China for more than 15 years developing and manufacturing socks for iconic Australian brands such as Bonds and Holeproof, socks and hosiery for UK leaders Marks & Spencer, and legwear for Target. He has high level Mandarin language skills and resides in China on a full-time basis.
Wendy Chen
Production Manager
Wendy has been working in the sock industry ever since graduating from university. She joined a large international sock trading company as a development specialist and later development manager. Her expertise lies in business operations, product coordination, and logistics.
Wallace Wu
Human Resources Manager
Wallace has worked for several large Chinese apparel manufacturing companies, namely Crystal Group, which supplies 3.5 hundred million garments each year for brands such as Hennes & Mauritz, Marks & Spencer, UNIQLO, JCPenney, Abercrombie & Fitch, Levi‘s, Puma and more. Wallace has also worked for Fountain Set Holding Ltd., the biggest circular knit fabric suppiler in the world.
Jarlath Anderson
Director of Operations Technology
Jarlath is a New Zealand native who has lived in Melbourne, New York, San Francisco, Singapore, and Seoul. He has contributed to the innovation of Apple, SolarCity (Tesla), StubHub, eBay in both consulting and system architecture roles. Jarlath is fluent in both Mandarin and English.
BeLLA WU
Procurement Director
Bella’s family business has been sock manufacturing since 2001. She began working in the factory after she graduated college in 2006. In 2014 she left her family business Chengjian to partner with Peter on their very own facility.
